Eat: Ikoyi, St James
This modern west African-inspired fusion restaurant opened quietly in July of last year. Headed by former Noma and Dinner chef Jeremy Chan and his childhood friend Iré Hassan-Odukale (who hails from the Ikoyi region of Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city) Ikoyi has since received stellar reviews. Book: Picasso 1932 - Love, Fame, Tragedy, Tate Modern
Dubbed Picasso's 'year of wonders' 1932 was evidently one of note for the artist. The first ever solo Picasso exhibition to held at Tate Modern will take us through this pivotal year, with more than 100 works will be exhibited, including the famous Le Rêve (The Dream), the painting of Picasso’s young lover Marie-Thérèse Walter, never before on display in the UK.
